The Orioles continue to rotate pitchers in and out of Baltimore and Norfolk. Over the last day or so, Stinson had a start for the Orioles and was reassigned back to Norfolk after that game. Britton was scheduled to start against Charlotte tonight but was just called up, so Clark will pitch tonight against Stewart for the Knights. Burnett was optioned back to Norfolk to make room for Stinson. So, there is apparently a viable pitching staff for tonight’s game.

The Tides lost a close one yesterday afternoon. Hoes looked good again. He has hit 13 RBI in the last dozen games. The 6-5 loss was a tough one in a well-played game.

My return to Section 309 will be delayed a bit, but it’s for good reasons. I’m going up to Washington tomorrow to catch three games between the Nats and my beloved Reds. I will post pictures and remarks from Nationals Park periodically during the weekend. -RR
